Best hard drive configeration

I currently have a 120 GD and a 250 GD IDE HD. I just bought 2 Seagate baracuda 200 GD SATA's for a Raid 0 config.
I want 1 HD for my video, 1 for Music, pictures, and misc files and 1 for OS. I already have an external for back ups.
My question is, would it be better to use the Raid 0 set up for my video files (If I did this I would have enough room to put video, music, and pictures on one drive) or for my OS. Or can I partition the Raid set up and use 100 GD for my OS and 300 GD for my video?
Or if anyone has a better sugestion, please let me know. The main thing is, I want at least 250 GD for Video.

As far as performance is concerned, you're going to want to have your OS and programs on the RAID. The video etc is not going to benefit from the RAID at all, unless it is video that you are editing.

However, if you have the space, might as well put them on the RAID.

I'd ditch the 120 though. For that small amount of extra space, it wouldn't be worth the extra heat in your case IMO.

I guess I should have mentioned, It is mainly video for editing. I use Vegas video, and I use pictures and music for my productions also. That's why it might be convenient to have them all on one drive.

Any other sugestions. Would a Raid 0 config speed up video editing? Or would it be beter as my C drive?
