Best hairy man ear & nose trimmer?

Please help me, I'm on my 12th one and need a recommendation. My underwear lasts 12 years, why can't a ear and nose trimmer make it longer than 10 months?

I don't know about ear hair, but for nose hair I use tweezers. The pain of pulling nose hairs gets to me though so I'm trying a new tactic of limiting the number of hairs "beyond the threshold" I pull each day to 2-3. I figure that at some point I'll have caught up.

Lately I've been seeing middle age and older guys walk around with these tufts of hair from the top of their noses. I don't get it, it's literally right in front of your eyes and why would you not care? That tape might be a good idea for those guys.

Reminds me of sitting next to this woman on a plane once. She had a gigantic mole on her cheek, with a single thick black hair coming out of it. Was at least 7 inches long, curly as she was black, and she had groomed it so it followed her jawline and neck. Still creeps me out to think of it. What the hell lady, you can fix that in 0.1 seconds.

I have a little personal trimmer that works well for nose hair but not really for ear (outside of ear yes, not inside really). Something like this (Wahl Lithium Micro Groomsman Trimmer:

I also have a nose/ear attachment for my razor but I don't think it works nearly as well as that little trimmer does.

From Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0784V1KK3/

1. $18 shipped
2. Handles nose, eyebrows, beard, and ears
3. Runs off a pair of AA's that you provide (gray one is 2 AA's, silver one is a single AA)
4. Just roll around the inside of your nose, no pain or anything, then rinse off. Super easy
5. Not waterproof, but it is water resistant, so you can use it in the shower if you want

Yeah, duct tape should work pretty well. I'm not the hairiest dude, but on the rare occasion when things have gone jungle on me, duct tape stepped in and solved the problem.

On a daily basis I use a Braun multi-purpose tool...

I got to see this being used on someone once but I haven't tried myself. Used correctly they only get the hair at the front/roof of your nose, they don't strip out everything. If you're really hairy the difference in breathing ability is supposedly amazing. Could be used for ears too I bet.

Interesting, if it's waxing then how is it not plucking them out all the way? Like I said, whenever I would get the tweezers and pluck my nose - it just gave a SHITTON of ingrows... every time.

I just threw that exact one out 🙂 What usually starts happening to all of them is once you change the battery it starts make good electrical contact and then they fall apart.

I was eyeing that one on Amazon, but wasn't familiar with the brand.

Oh damn thanks, that looks like a winner! You can get it wet too, nice touch and something I haven't seen before.

Yeah I'm not sure what brand mine is but it's not that exact brand. I've had mine... oh I don't know, at least probably 5 years. I don't use it a ton, maybe once a week or two. My only complaint is usually I'll turn it on (you have to rotate the upper half to the "On" position) and nothing happens; the piece in the upper part that goes back and forth is just stuck. I pop up the top and press it free with my finger and that fixes it. Probably just needs to be oiled or something but it don't bother me enough to resolve it.

Reminds me of a guy in my old neighbor who used to call me when he had a computer problem. His ear hair was at least an inch in length and he had a lot of it. I couldn’t help but stare at it and kept thinking - my god man, trim your ear hair, it looks gross.
