What are your favorite songs just taking into account the guitar played in it? Forget everything else...

Mine would have to be...

Deftones - Be Quiet and Drive
Deftones - Dai the Flu
Deftones - The Boy's Republic
(I swear the Deftones just have most sweetass guitar I've ever heard and no one else sounds like that...at least that I have heard. Has anyone??)
Foo Fighters - Everlong (a special acoustic version. look for it on Napster. length = 5:08. it's amazing!)
A Perfect Circle - The Hollow
Nirvana - Man Who Sold the World (Unplugged)
ANY Alice In Chains Unplugged stuff
Slipknot - Purity (I just LOVE the beginning of that song)

well, those are mine for various reasons what about you guys? Guess the pop/rap freaks can't reply here since none of those bands play instruments (for the most part)

That must be the Fender Stratocaster...

I've got such a guitar (not one of the origional guitars, though ) and I absolutely agree with you that it's the best guitar ever.
