Best graphics card for under $100 ???

I'm going to build another xpc and I'm looking for the best gpu for under $100.
Is it still the 8800 series cards?

I will likely be buying used on ebay.
Card must be a single slot card.

Anything beat an 8800 for this price?

that's a great deal for a gts 250, but it's not single slot.

Yeah I'd definitely go for a 250 if it were single slot. Looks like a 4850 will be the way to go.

lol, when you guys said single slot card, i thought it should also have a single slotted cooler.

About the gts250... maybe you can replace the 2 slot bracket with a single slot bracket? You can probably get a single slot bracket from an older gfx card you might have lying around. Havent tried it myself, but just a thought.

1. not worth the hassle, esp on an open box card.
2. the card is dual slot for a reason. even if the OP is willing/able to replace the cooler, imagine the present he would get anytime he used it and the fan ramped up.
