90% of a high end desktop card is insanely fast in the world of laptop GPUs.

You don't buy something like that to game on a battery. You plug it in to the wall.

Money is no issue...so you buy a deep cycle marine battery, you slap an inverter and step up transformer on it, and you hire a couple of guys to carry it around with you.

Whe money really becomes no issue, people come to you so you can stay in one spot and use a desktop to telecommute from a PC with quad SLI 480s.
