I got my dad an iPad Mini (Retina) with cellular service. He travels for work a lot & wants to use a couple GPS functions on it:
1. Maps (with offline caching for a specific area, at least)
2. Parking location reminder
What's the best GPS & parking apps for the larger iPad screen? No big deal on pricing or monthly fees, everything's on the table. I usually just use Google Maps on my iPhone, but there's no offline caching for the area you're in on that. I'm a big fan of Garmin, but they don't seem have have an iPad-specific app & have some weird pricing structures. Not a huge fan of TomTom. Waze could work. Copilot GPS has offline maps & route planning:

Right now MotionX GPS Drive & Find Your Car AR look like pretty good options to go with, but I wanted to check before we spent any money on them because there's so many seemingly good options out there...wanted to get some IRL feedback first 😉
