Best Glue for Watercooling Hack

Cut up a plastic adapter for my GPU block and need to affix it to the block to make a side facing outlet. What's the best glue to protect my $1000 parts from leaks. I have a silicon sealant which I don't think will work. I have marine epoxy which says not to use in aquariums or portable water systems. I think the marine epoxy will work but I want to make sure I use something that will last through years if needed.

potable, look it up, you'll understand better. I'd suggest buying the right fitting. You can get 90 degree barbs, swivels and any configuration you can imagine. Don't trust to glue what there is steel and brass made for.

With my SFF NES-PC, space is at a premium and unfortunately a 90degree fitting is too tall. I agree though and thanks for the tip.

Anyone think of any other products?

i need to see a picture.

Do you mean 'potable' water systems, that is, drinking water systems? Cured epoxy isn't particularly toxic, and that marine epoxy may simply have not been submitted for certification.

The best glue depends on the type of plastic, and if possible use a solvent weld (ABS, PVC, CPVC, acrylic), otherwise heat weld (acetal, polyethylene, nylon).

I don't understand why anybody would risk $1000 of hardware to a water block that isn't very well sealed.
