best gift ever!

my best friend and his fiance(proposed today actually) went to the fiances parents house today for christmas. as one of the gifts, the fiances parents gave them a card with some scratch-off lottery tickets. my bf took them out to garage to get a quarter to scratch them off. he comes back in and gets his fiance, with a solemn look on his face. the fiance thinks its some kind of bad news. my bf shows his fiance a card he scratched off worth $50,000. of course, they both go ape sh!t; jumping up and down, hugging, etc. they thenrun in the house to show her family. thats when the fiances mother drops the bomb: theyre gag lottery tickets!

bwahahaha. the fiance got so upset, she went into the bathroom and cried. when they came over here later in the day, she was still in a state of disbelief. i thought it was great, but i can see where it would suck.

in the mothers defense, she planned to be there when they scratched them off, so it wouldnt get out of hand. but since they were in the garage, she didnt know my bf had scratched them off.

hahaha your own mother fvckin with your head like that.

I gave one of those gag tickets to my dad for his birthday and he called and woke me up later that night to tell me he won $50,000. He was pretty pissed off when I told him it was a prank.

There's a line between a joke and just being an asshole. That crosses the line.

nah not really. they gave one to her sister also, but they were there to watch her scratch it off so they could keep her from getting too excited before realizing it was a fake.
