NO, it's not.

They're running at GF114 core clocks with a GF114 memory configuration (GTX 560 SE) running at GF114 clocks; they can only SLI with 192 bit GF114's (which includes themselves); and there are multiple sources saying they're GF114's including GPU-Z. If you still want to believe they're GF104's...

Welp, DonKarnage and company convinced me, it's worth the few extra $$ to go from 560 Ti 448 to Radeon 7850. Just gotta find a good deal on one

EVGA , the only vendor that makes only nVidia cards. Best support as well.

quality card,, gl

Recently got rid of my 7970 cause i absolutely hated the drivers and my backup card being a 4 1/2 year old Evga 8800gts i got brand new still works like a dream,i haven't had a single issue with it ever.

Heck the old girl can play BF3 at 1600x900 medium with post aa on low without to much problems, based on my excellent experience i am considering getting myself a Evga gtx570 and while being a bad value now perhaps,it won't give me half the hassle every amd card got me...then later i could jump on big Kepler when it arrives:D

Would really need some convincing data showing amd has picked up on their driver support as i wouldn't want to get burned again a 5th time.

What issues did the 7970 give you?

What issues did the 7970 give you?

Randomly stability issues, occasional lock ups...refuse to wake up from sleep bug.

Typical overclocking that depending on driver can randomly become unstable while it would give weeks of perfectly stable performance that passed even furmark and occt standards and hours of gaming,by the time i sat on 12.3 i decided to simply not overclock the card any more and i still had random issues, see below \/

The big one that wowed me was when i popped a store bought dvd into my tower and the monitor goes into sleep mode, only way out of that situation was a hard reboot.
