best Geforce 3 ultra driver?

can anyone recommend the best (detonator) driver version they think is best to use for a GeForce 3 ultra, under win XP pro sp2 ?

thinking need for speed underground, unreal tour, etc

i guess the latest version is always a good idea.

by "best geforce 3" driver, i don't mean the driver for the best geforce, i mean the best driver for the geforce 3 🙂

On my old computer I have a 45.?? installed on my GeForce3. That seems to run fine, im not sure if its the best but it runs as good as i think it should.
 
Yup, pretty much any driver in the 4x.xx series is best for a GeForce3/4. I would get various compatibility issues when running 5x.xx or 6x.xx drivers.
 
44.03 for any GF3 or GF4. Still works in the newest titles, as well as older titles too, which I can't say for the later 50.xx or 60.xx. This driver will give you a 15% performance boost on an Nvidia DX8 hardware card compared to the newer ones.
