Best Gaming/Text 19" monitor

Sony CPD400? I'm beginning to reconsider my need fo a 19" monitor, and instead get the best 19" monitor I can. Lets consider a broad range, I play games and use Office quite a bit, lets hear your reviews/suggestions!

Well, you're gonna wanna, yeah, check out the Samsung 900NF. Simply put, it's cheaper and just as good. Oh yeah, try searching General Hardware and Video with the 'search' tool for 19" monitor threads, you'll find a lot!

I have a Sony 400PS 19" and I love it. Use the BNC cable connection, and run at 1600x1200 and it looks great. No fuzziness, ghosing, etc.

I just bought a new Iiyama i90A for $479, no shipping. I've had trinitrons (in fact I'm using the Sony 17" now (it came with the Micron XP that is going to my dad)), and while I can honestly say these are great monitors, I figured I try something new. Not to mention this was a cheaper solution which I can't believe I found. It was through Computer mart, right off the Iiyama website. all their other reselleres were charging more, even before tax. I'll let you know when I get it

If you're going to get a monitor DON'T get a refurbished Sony monitor. I just got the CPD-G500 (the 21&quot😉 and lemme tell you after being on for an hour or so, the image gets slightly wave. The only way I can prevent this is to change to ANY other refresh rate but it'll occur again. Rinse, repeat, etc. BTW, I got it at ubid (last time I go to those mofos).

I have the Samsung Syncmaster 950p and it's a very nice monitor.

have a sony G400 and although it starts out with a brown tint in one corner it's a great monitor. The brown goes away after about 15 minutes. Games look really nice along with my GeForce 2.
