Best Gaming Mouse Pads

i just happen to have started with the func pad am most used to it now. I love the dual sided thing though i rarely use it, the mouse clip has proved very helpful, and it's been kinda neat in that the orange/blue always atracts some level of attention by people swinging by my place and seeing my desk area.

I don't think it particularly helps me in games or anything like that, i just am most comfortable using it. Though i would like to get some mouse skatz or teflon tape for my mx300s feet.. after two years, they are starting to give out.. i haven't been that rough =\

Even better than a mousepad is the desk. That is what I am using and I dont have a problem with my MX510

actually a mouse pad plays a role in ur gaming performance. it may not be a huge role, but having a bad mouse pad can really affect your game

i definitely agree w/raildogg. I have used a few gaming mouse pads in teh past at lan parties and although it might not be a huge improvemnt, the feel of the mouse was much better than when using just the desk.

same here, except i am using mx300 which shouldnt be *THAT MUCH* different except its much smaller.

as for me, mouse pad matters more than a mouse. when a need arises to play games pc cafes, i take my mousepad with me 🙂

wow, really? one would think that getting a mouse would be more important. like using a mx510 is better than using a $20 microsof mouse.

I would suggest getting the fUnc sUrface 1030. I use it with my Intellimouse and it greatly increased my game. But the MX510(red only) is only sale for 30 bux on Amazon. Do you think I should for that?

I just ordered a blue MX510 and fUnc 1030. I think the good reviews on newegg and teh cord clip sealed the deal. and as for the red mx510, i was thinkin about gettin that, but it just wouldnt match the computer i'm gonna get (blue LEDs and parts) xcyclone, you should definitely go for it as long as you have no problems with the color, $30 is cheaper than a mx500.

Anyone using the X-Trac XL pad?
I am,and I'm happy with it.It's huge area accomodates any movement I can throw at it.It's soft and flat(thin),cleans easily.
I'm sure how it compares in the accuracy dept. with other mousepads, but it serves me nicely in FPS gaming.

Didn't you read the thread? This will be for his new PC. I have never heard of those other ones but I use a Ratpadz and it works great. I always check out reviews before buying a produc like that though.

For moderator: Heh... Proceeding with caution!

I use an Icemat and my opinion is that this is the best pad. There are 3 things i like in it
1) The gliding, yeah withot teflon tapes its almost useless, but when you attach them, you will feel the benefits!
2) Its solid compared to cloth pads which lose shape, etc, it's almost immortal
3) It looks cool, just looks cool!

i hear icemat isnt that great for us who have sweaty palms, or anything glass based for that matter. just a thought..

i got my mx510 and func surface in the mail today and tried them out. wow, this is the best mouse setup i have ever used. the mx510 is an excellent gaming mouse and func is sweet. i like how i can choose between two different sides and i like the size, not too big, but not too small. the mouse clip works great too and the the pad won't move around on my desk.

EDIT: i'm not sure if the other mouse pads are better or not, but i'm extremely satisfied with my purchase.
