best gaming lcd... 17 or 19 inch

looking to build a gaming pc with about $330 left over to buy a good lcd monitor.
Suggestions? Comments? Thanks.
 
i got the acer 19 on sale to see what the newer lcd's look like... i'm a crt kind of guy... the 19 and 17 do the same native res, 1280/1024... my take is that the picture might look a bit better on a 17 inch, due to the dot pitch being bigger on the 19... the bigger pitch makes the picture a little more blocky...

but for us old guys the large print edition wins out over having the prettiest picture...
 
I personally prefer a 17" with the smaller dot-pitch, but it's subjective. You could save up and go for something like the Viewsonic VX2025WM, it's about $400US i believe?
