Best gaming headphones?

I'm looking for gaming headphones for under $100. I wouldn't mind spending a little more on surround headphones but from what I understand they are overrated. I will be using the cans with my onboard karajun audio on my dfi lanparty.
 
I use the Plantronics DSP500 and they're pretty nice. The newer version are better than the first edition set.
