I need a little help/feedback here from someone experienced. I havnt really been in the GPU/Gaming world that much anymore..

However, I decided it was time to upgrade a few things. I am typically a Nvidia guy, but I decided I wanted a new high 144hz gaming monitor. I guess thus far I have my eye on the Viewsonic XG2401 freesync monitor. Because it is freesync, I guess I have to convert to AMD camp.

So here is my issue. I am still rocking an oldschool Antec P180 case and I have limited room for the video card. I really cant fit more than 7-8" max! Poking around, AMD seem to have less choices than Nvidia does(that figures....). I was planning to go Nvidia because they have lots of flavors of short high-performance video cards, but then I would lose the freesync ability... What is a good AMD freesync gaming video card that is under 8" long? Anyone?

Any help would be appreciated..........

Nano is the best small card, but its still very expensive (Fury Air can be had for as little as $215 at newegg right now).

I had that case though and just removed the middle HD tray when I got my old 6950.

You should think of a Custom version based on original PCB of RX480(Or 380x if you want to spend less). But for a 144Hz monitor the best and the only choice to buy is a Nano.
