So...I've been reviewing "The LCD Thread" and I can't make a decision. My first was the samsung 2493HM, but then I saw that the scaling causes lag. The BenQ monitor only has 250 cd/m^2 brightness. I would like at least 300. 400 would be ideal. Anyone have the BenQ and love it? Thanks everyone!

Uh...really? Have you ever used a monitor at 400nit brightness? I have one specced at 500 maximum and one specced at 400 maximum, and even at 0 brightness neither of them get dim enough for my liking.

The brighter one is probably around 188nit minimum, which is a little uncomfortable.

I really like the BenQ to be honest. Dont really have a need for super brightness either. The only thing I would even consider ditching this BenQ for is a reasonably priced 30" from a good manufacturer and that wont happen any time soon.
