Best games of '05 and '06

What are some of the best titles for 2005 and 2006?

I'll play the '07 titles and Stalker when I do my next video card upgrade.

I've played:

Medieval 2
Condemened: Criminal Origins
Need for Speed: Most Wanted
Call of Duty 1 and 2
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
Fear

I can't think of too many during that period. Those generally were not great years for PC games. The standout for me was Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (note that it has starforce) and NFS Most Wanted was very good too.

Even though they weren't that good of years, there was still a large number of games that I thought were good to very good. Also there was a few good racers in that time like TOCA3, GTR, as well as sports games. IMO of course.

Best game of '05, IMO, is GTA: San Andreas. Still playing it. Probably played it through over 50 times by now.

Well, not really 05-06 since it came out late 2004 but Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is a great game.
