Best games for LAN party? also tips for setting one up?

Finally bought a copy of AOE2 from Wally World - $10! comes with the Conquerors expansion as well. Going to be getting WC3 and RoN setup soon to keep up the RTS goodness

RTS LAN:

AOE2 is a classic, great 8 player fun. Nothing can really beat this for RTS Lan play. Pain to lan sometimes though, everyone needs to have the same OS, sometimes crashes randomly too with a lot of people.

Warhammer 40k Original- great game. Very addicting. Unique races to choose from.

FPS:
CS- with at least 6 people this is a blast.

Action/RPG:
Jedi Knight 2 Jedi Outcast- with bots, custom mods/maps, this could be some of the best fun ever had.
Nox- absolute Westwood classic. Great hack n slash gameplay
Diablo series
Baldurs Gate 2
Neverwinter Nights 2

Just make sure not to exceed 15 amps per rail.. use extension cords from different rooms, like kitchen, bedroom, garage. Because those areas are usually 15amps each.

The new SS is a hoot, and super simple to get everyone in and playing. Same for TF2 and CS:S.

Yep, know your power layout.

Basically, have freaking plan on where to put all those people. Don't waste four hours of everyone's time trying to get it laid out when they show up
