Best Game To Make A Movie From?

I love editing and creating movies. However, without the people, the money, talent, or equipment necessary to create something interesting in the real world, I turn to video games. In the past, I've made videos in games like: Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, and Operation Flashpoint. Now I'm looking for another game that has an easy to use free camera with the flexibility to create something of a movie.

Anyone have any good suggestions that provides a good setting for a video & is easy to use? (Some games force you to learn the game's engine scripting, and that takes months/years to learn). Preferably something allowing two or more lan players to act as one records.

Any ideas? Thx
 
I'd love to see a movie based on Prey.. I'm sure it would have to be disturbing and gruesome but it has the potential to kick ass!
 
Anything "real world" related? Battlefield was nice since it not only had free camera but cars, tanks, boats, planes/jets.

CS is really a good game to make a movie out of dialog. Halo as well. Prey, I don't even know if you can disable HUD.

HL2... is there: Free Camera? Ability to have smooth movement between players (as in; not choppy?)
 
I think Half-Life 2 could be really awesome if done correctly. I guess I'm referring to an actual film with director, actors, etc., though. Even so I think it would work pretty good for a homemade movie using the game.
 
Metal Gear Solid. They're practically movies already. If I had to choose which one they decided to film, I'd go for Sons of Liberty. It has a lot of compelling movie elements.

Those are all scripted and rendered. Nothing I want to do. I want a free camera, vehicle friendly game that is easy to create a cutscene. Nothing I'd have to spend years on to make a 2 minute cutscene from a movie. Not to mention, that would be mostly dialoge anyway.

WoW is something that cannot be taken seriously when making a film. That's more of a comedy focus I think.
 
Halo, because red vs blue is good. or I should say was good cus its going down hill.


I also enjoyed watching and making videos from Tribes 2 back in the day.
