WoW is still on my list too, but I have been playing it since beta, but as for games that came out in 2007 COD4 is really fun and well made. The multiplayer is addicting and fun after you finish the single player mode.
Combining challenging puzzles, a humorous antagonist and a rather mysterious protagonist, along with the gameplay of a first person shooter, Portal is a genius game. I'm looking forward to sequels.
The true ending is quite something, and the buildup to it is very good.
The upcoming prequel/expack thingy could be my game to get for 08. I'm hoping that since the technology is now in place, they'll be able to spend more time crafting a cool game than fighting with code.
Amazing all the way through. Performance was acceptable out of the box, and there were few "super"-bugs (I count the Freedom allegiance + Ecologists as minor cause you can work around it a bit).
Company of heros: OF, because it really made CoH playable for me online, before i was just bored with only two sides, now its mixed up a little, much more fun.
