There's a road sign outside Sacramento that gives the distance to Sac, the distance to Fair Oaks, and the distance to Baltimore, MD.

There's a sign on the way out of Ocean City, Maryland, that gives the distance to LA, California. 🙂
 
There is a city near Melbourne Australia that has my name pointing to the street. "Benjamin Lee Drive" ... I have a picture of it but its a hard copy not digital.

The distances to cities across the country are generally because they are on freeways that run all the way to them if I'm not mistaken. There are a few in the US that do that as I'm sure most of you know.
 
actually down in South Car. me and brentman went to see a friend and we saw a REAL road sign that said "1337" on it, wish i had had a camera on me.
