well finally found something that worked, xilisoft dvd ripper platinum. even lets you split each X minutes. and spawns multiple threads for cores. very fast. and gets aspect ratio right, animorphic seemed to screw up super. encoding with something like autogk and then using super works fine, but takes atleast 5 times as long as shoving it through xilisoft autogk is surprisingly slow even when encoding down to low resolution.
