best free pop-up blocker software

can someone recommend me a free popup blocker? i used to use the google toolbar but this mysearchnow thing took over it.

Use Crazy Browser. It's a front end for IE that has a pop up blocker built in and some other neat features like browser tabs. Just do a search, you'll find it.

Google toolbar is far and away the best blocker for IE. It sounds like you have some spyware on your computer. Use Adaware or Spybot to remove it.

yup, mysearchnow is a hijacker -- look here for a great set of instruction for hijack-removal.

Then, when you've got that cleaned up, look at Firefox for your new browser...
