Best free e-mail?

I'm at work and just had the pleasure of listening to two imagers arguing rather loudly about which one of them was being jerked the most by their e-mail service. And I myself am not too fond of Lycos, my own which is constantly down for 'maintenance'.

So what's a solid free e-mail service? Don't need a big mailbox, 5 to 10MBs will do. Thanks!

I use Yahoo. They have a nice interface. They recently added a great Spam filter. They also let you virus-check your attachments online. Plus they have viewers for many file types (like MS Office files).

I have not used any other free e-mail service. Yahoo satisfies my needs very well.

One other consideration: If you are on a company's network and they block access to well known e-mail services, you might want to try to find something smaller and more obscure than Yahoo or MSN.
