I am looking for a program that will copy DVD software to another DVD-R, its mac software if that matters (but i am working on windows). All the stuff i tried is for DVD movies and wont recognize the dvd, i havent found any that will copy software from DVD disk. Any leads appriciated.

doesnt seem to work, it makes a copy but the copy is not functional, unless there is a special way of doing it?

Is the original disc copy-protected, i.e. game or application?

Anything that will make an ISO from the DVD should work fine. Then just burn the ISO. Alcohol 120% comes to mind.
Thats actually the easier way.
DVD to DVD has one serious flaw.
If you screw up the burn you have to start all over and it takes much longer.

If you use DVDShrink or something similar to make an ISO, you can burn it as many times as you want even if you lose the original disc. Also only needs one drive.
