Best free AV to see if no program on your PC allows remote access

Which is the best free AV or (online) scanner to see if no installed program on your PC is allowing remote acess. Is HitmanPro good for this? Which other free AVs scan your PC for this best? Thanks in advance.

I would approach this from a network level, if you are concerned a program on your computer is compromised then i wouldn't trust a program running on the compromised computer to be effective/accurate. Look at the network traffic IMO.
