Best for dry conditions - AWD, RWD, FWD?

Depends on what you are doing.

In a straight line after you have already launched from a standstill AWD is nothing more than a parasite sucking up power and milage.

RWD. why would you need AWD in dry conditions?😛

As long as you have the ability to break the rear loose, you would benefit from AWD.

Some look at the ability to break the rear loose as an asset.

For dry conditions it doesn't really matter which one you take.
FWD will give you the best gas mileage, but if you're talking about racing then RWD or AWD are the way to go, with RWD giving the best performance but less stability so it's not as easy to control that performance.

In most racing circumstances in dry conditions, I would say RWD, but AWD rocks thru the Auto-X cones.
