What's the best foot chase scene in a film?
I'm in the middle of watching Point Break, which has a pretty nice foot chase, but then the start of Casino Royale is most excellent as well.

Any other films with great foot chases?

I haven't seen Point Break, and I really like Ong Bok, but Casino Royal is just amazing. The differences between the first guy jumping around and over everything vs. Bond just plowing through it was quite enjoyable.

I loved the one in CR only because I like watching those wall jumpers or whatever.

The chase schene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail
With the monster in the cave, and the animator dying of a sudden heart attack

Couldn't resist it

I do like the Casino Royale one though

One of those Charles Bronson movies. The one where the killer did his business naked.

One of the Dirty Harry films. Possibly the one with the list? He chased that guy all over the wharf.

I concur with Point Break.

 There are too many great scenes to mention.

And, while not the most exhilarating foot 'chase' the rooftops scene with DeNiro in the Godfather Pt. II is pretty awesome.

I just watched Heat Wednesday night on TMC. Uncensored and in widescreen. Thank you Turner Classic Movies.

Mel Gibson in almost any installment of the Lethal Weapon series.

I liked the one in #2 where he just gets out of the car and charges down the street weilding an MP5.

Hands down The Protector! One of the worst plots ever in a movie, but some incredible fight scenes. The one in particular is when Tony Ja is running up this circular stairway chasing somebody, fighting off 30 or 40 guys...but the most amazing part is that is was shot in only one take, and it's over 5 mins. long.
