If you're going to use an 8, use Arial or summat.

Is your name Ankit or is this for someone else?

Btw, they all look the same to me (except the last one). Sorry for not being any help.

This is for a new local business venture of mine, my name is Ankit :)

As for the sign, it is not an 8 turned sideways unless that's how the font was made! I used the character map to find the sign. Now, anyone have ideas on getting a more accurate representation of it?

If you're going to use an 8, use Arial or summat.

Or warp it in photoshop to make it somewhat unique looking
(like the Infinity speaker company)

First, that has no relevance. If you can hire the right people and coordinate everything carefully, technical knowledge is not needed, however it's beneficial to have a technical background.

Second, this is not going to be a software company. One of the ideas in my business plan in the future will require some software to be made, however that won't be in house. The main aspects will not require software to be made at all!

:)

Pick a different font, I just found half a dozen that have infinity signs that don't look like 8s turned sideways.

What does a company called Ankitsoft do if not make software? Make softcore porn?

You're right that technical knowledge is not necessary to run a software company, but generally it's beneficial to be EITHER technically competent or over the age of 16.

And for a startup technical knowledge is pretty important, as the owner would take a more active role in the beginning or it'll never get off the ground.

Alright, I'll try some more fonts.

As for the other three questions, let's take it to a PM shall we? I don't think anybody else here cares!

Also, I appreciate the questions you pose, they'll help me realize areas I need to learn more about.

Cheers! :)

I knew it, softcore porn! :)

Try Playbill and Tahoma, they both look like infinity signs... not sure if they have the look you're going for though. Not as "sleek" as the one you have.
