Good morning all. My first post here. I'm looking to build a htpc/casual gaming PC and have decided to go with the A10-7870k APU. So any suggestions on which iTX board to go with?

Define "best" please. Features, performance, cost?

I'd suggest either the Asrock FM2A88X-ITX+ or the Gigabyte F2A88XN-WIFI.

They both have every feature you could need. One word of advice when selecting a case though. Make sure to pick one with plenty of room for a larger cooler. APUs can get rather toasty in an ITX case, using the stock cooler.

Hope it helps, and welcome to the forum... :)

I can't vouch for it being the best, but when I was looking for the same thing I ended up with the ASRock FM2A88X-ITX+. Can't say I've been let down in the least with it. My biggest concern when selecting it versus the comparable MSI and Gigabyte offerings was it's lack of heatsinks on the VRMs, turned out that was a non issue, it's had no issue handling my 7850K all the way up to 4.7GHz. It's other knock compared to those two is they have wireless-ac, it only has wireless-n. As for it's advantages, it has more SATA ports, HDMI-in pass-through, e-SATA, as well as more motherboard USB headers.
