Between the 3 cars we own and maintain, I have used at least once a month for the last 15 months. It has worked well for me so far, no complains. It's worth it even at its normal price of $120.
Hydraulic floor jacks are going to be hit or miss.

You could have also gotten an extended service protection plan in-store, but there might not be one near you.
