Both the allergy sprays I mentioned above are also inexpensive and readily available in generic form... however ZERO meds is the best possible goal. (only take what you really NEED) I get better results from Nasonex personally.

Be wary of strong symptoms that crop up right after you stop taking the antihistamine too .... this could happen due to a tolerance of some kind built up from from taking them for years. (even if it was not every day) You may also have issues falling asleep for a bit.
I decided to try not taking any antihistamines, aspirin too. I removed them from my supplement trays today. TBH I don't expect to notice a thing, but will be on the alert. I usually don't have problems falling asleep, so I'm not worried about that. At times I do but it's only occasional and I've never been worried about it. I thought taking antihistamines was harmless, but I was obviously very wrong to assume that. I think I must have run my supplement train by my doctor before and he never said anything about the antihistamine. I think they give those guys too many patients at my HMO.

One glass of wine per night!

My last GF would drink 2 glasses of red with with dinner while I drank 1 (and I was quite a bit larger). I drank a glass last night, finishing off the bottle. It was about, I'd guess, 1.3 oz of 2 buck chuck cab.
