i'm looking to buy a new 19 incher but i decided to consult with you guys first. i had in mind a 955DF for 200 but i hear that is not actually a flatscreen so please post what u think is the best flatscreen crt 19 inch monitor for the buck.

KDS 19in Xflat at walmart, $188. Its the black/gray colored one, matches perfectly with my chieftec silver tower. I got mines with 20% off thanks to a friend who works at walmart🙂.
 
the 955df sux the big one.
try running 1600x1200 @ 65 hz and you'll go blind in no time.
but if u run lower resolutions, then it's ok for the price.

for flat crt's, stick with aperture grille's, such as trinitron and diamondtron, etc.
my cousin picked up a compaq p910 diamondtron tube last year for $170 shipped back when AMEX Blue had BVG.
1600x1200 is nice 😀
