What is it? This would be mainly for listening to music while exercising and transporting the odd file. Is the iRock 800 series decent? How about the TDK Mojo X? Thanks for the help.

BTW, I'm looking for a player with 128mb. So far it looks like the Rio S35S and the iRiver iFP-180T are the top two I could find. Any other suggestions? Also, how about those other two players I mentioned in the first post? They're significantly less expensive, but are they any good?

From the review on Amazon, I would go with IRiver. Also I dealt with Rio's customer server, its POS.

On Black Friday I got the MPIO 128MB MP3 Player for $40 AR... It's not horrible, and for $40 it's sweet. Haha, gotta brag though, he and I were two of three people to receive the players as Best Buy didn't get the shipment in. >8)

Get the cheapest, that way if you're dissapointed you can always say "eh, just $40." Mine hasn't flawed at all, just no kewl gadgets... just mp3 player w/ a purty blue light... It does come with a strap to mount it to your arm. The holder really sucks as the MP3 player doesn't snap in.

G'luck!

So no one knows anything about these two players? Is there some other place I could check/ask about them? I tried cnet, but they had no reviews on either of these.

TDK is better, iRock looks too ugly and too big.

BUT I would recommend the Apacer 128M at Newegg.

I've been really happy with my MSI Megastick. Its a flash drive, mp3/wma player, FM radio, and a voice/radio recorder. Its got 4 or 5 EQ presets to choose from, 128 MB, and sounds really good. Takes 1 AAA battery.. i've been using mine since christmas and the battery still has alot of life left in it. I've been pretty impressed by the radio reception i'm able to get also. I can get my 3 favorite stations in crystal clear and in stereo. At christmas they were $97 at newegg.. Kinda pricey for 128 MB, but they are really nice and have lots of features.
