Best flash base MP3 player that is a usb memory key

I'm looking to get a new MP3 player, i currently have a Creative MuVo TX FM. I have reciently become limited with my storage between work, school, and music.

So what would be the best choice of mp3 player i could get with these specs

- 1 gig flash storage
- usb memory key (no dongle, no driver required)
- good audio quality (i run with it so it needs to be loud)

The only two that fit this description are the Creativ MuVo, and the Shuffle. Both of these can get bought at around $150

if you are a student, go to www.apple.com/students to see if your school applies for a discount. the 1 GB shuffle is $139. it's how i bought my 20 GB ipod, got it for $269 with free shipping and a free engraving.

not sure about the actual players themselves and which to pick, good luck.

WOW, extreamly good idea, i can do that, it is how i bought my powerbook. I don't know why i didn't think of it for this time.

I'm not an Apple hater, but the Shuffle simply isn't a good mp3 player. No features whatsoever. No playlist, no display, no folders, no nothing. The iPod is a good device, very userfriendly, good features, very aesthetic design.

But they really blew it with the Shuffle. The biggest selling point of it is that its made by Apple. For the same price, there's lots of MP3 players out there that are smaller (Samsung YP6t), have more features (samsung yp6t, creative muvo tx, muvo n200), FM (same list as before), LCD (as before), Directory support and playlist support (as before), and god knows what else.

The 512MB Creative Muvo TX FM is ~100$, and the 1GB is 150$.

If you really want a Shuffle and dont use any of the other features I mentioned, then go for it. But if you'd rather get something which costs the same and supports a lot more stuff, I'd say get the Samsung or the Muvo.

Just recevied my Creative Muvo TX FM (1GB) Mp3 player. One word, "Excellent".

I love its size, 1GB storage, no drivers needed and LCD.

I had considered the 1GB Ipod Shuffle but purchased the Muvo instead. I am extremely happy with my purchase. A++
