I know salmon would likely be the overwhelming favorite, but the g/f doesn't care for it so that's out.

For the grill you would want a firm fish.

Tuna or Swordfish

EDIT* Galghalf beat me to it!

if i dont grill salmon or swordfish i will usually get some red snapper, or orange ruffy..whatever you like..

throw it in some foil add some salt or seasoning a bit of vinegar, and a slice of cured jalapeno and close the whole thing up and throw it on the grill

after a few minutes you will have some great flavored steamed fish

Shark and swordfish is nasty

Plus it has like 10 times the mercury of other fish

Cooked tuna isn't too good ...
Sashimi is the only way to really eat it.

I'd say cod, talapia, snapper, or trout

Oh yeah I forgot to add my favorite recipe: Grilled Tilapia with garlic and jalapenos. :D

if you are in an area where you can get fresh trout, that's pretty good as well. great lakes FTW (unless you're a pregnant woman)

we love Ahi steaks. they are a very mild yet flavorful fish and if you get it fresh, you only need to sear it!

Tilapia is EXCELLENT! Grill it in wine soaked cheesecloth (or a paper cooking bag with veggies thown in). It's very mild, but meaty and picks up other flavors well. Serve topped with a bit of crumbled bacon, sauteed mushrooms, and a garlic butter wine sauce.

If you can find cooking planks for the grill and cook it on them, you get +15 points :)
