After years of thinking Godiva was good chocolate, I finally researched better stuff and found that for my tastes, La Maison makes the best stuff.
I bought a pound of it for my wife and sampled about 30 pieces over 2 weeks (~$1 a pieces and $7.00 for hot chocolate at the Rockefeller Center NYC shop).
It smokes Godiva and http://www.neuhauschocolate.com/, I like Dan's Chocolate, but they have been hit and miss for me.
~$70 pound, but I think for once a year its worth it.
So how about it, what is your favorite chocolate?
