I think all modern harddrives should be okay with any overclocking you should do. Overclocking does not really affect the harddrives in any way.

I don't think HDs matter when it comes to o/c'ing. Unless you have a SCSI adapter, PCI IDE/RAID controller, or a bad chipset "cough" i820 *cough*, then you don't want to push the PCI clock too high.

There are good performing hard drives though. Quantum Fireball Plus AS, IBM Deskstar 75GXP, Seagate Cheetah X15...mmm! Can't wait to see what the IBM 60GXP has in store!

It'll be a huge disappointment if the 60GXP's end up having a slower access time. I hope the 60GXP is quieter too.

The 75gxp works very well for IDE. The fireballs arent that bad though....

yea, most people will agree that the IBM is probably the best hard drive producer out there. Not sayign they're always better...but overall one of the all time best.
