best fans for upside down mount

I'm looking for some fans to mount upside down on a top vent on my cases. I've read and experienced firsthand that hydrodynamic and sleeve bearings do not work well in such a situation. Is ball bearing my only choice? What are some good fans for upside down mounting?

Rule of thumb states that sleeve bearing fans are not desirable when mounted horizontally. It could be true and I think it is to some extent but I've been using Noiseblocker XLPs as radiator fans which comes with their version of sleeve bearing and it doesn't show any problems at all. Has been running for nearly a year.

If ball bearing is your only solution, Scythe Gentle Typhoon is one of the popular ones.

I've never had or heard of a problem with either Noctua's fans or Corsair's Air Series fans when it comes to mounting them upside down in a case either directly to the case or to a radiator.
