Best fans for push/pull on CM 212 EVO?

I bought a cm 212 evo to cool my 4770k. What I wanted to know is what are the best fans to keep it cool? I'd like to buy 2 of them for push pull config.

Thanks.

Calling it best is too vague. Some want the best performance, some want absolute silence. You could try Scythe GTs.

How far are you planning to OC the 4770K? Chances are you'll be just fine with the stock fan.

FWIW, it's usually a much better idea to spend on a better heatsink to begin with than to buy a cheap heatsink and upgrade the fans.

Wow, 212 Evo + two Scythe fans will cost around $70 give or take. That much money can buy some quite high end coolers.

That would get you a Noctua D14 which is around twice the mass of a 212 Evo, and comes with two high quality fans by default and 6 year warranty...

We have had this discussion before. 2 fans on this cooler will get you a couple degrees, but that's about it. The heatsink is very well optimized for the fan it comes with.

As others have mentioned, if you want something cooler than this cooler stock, return it and get a higher end unit. Last I checked the EVO is very hard to beat for the price.

Did a push/pull with Corsairs SP 120s on my system. Will be installing the NZXT Kraken X60 I just received via Newegg since I was getting 71°C full load (4.3GHz OC'd).
Hopefully it will do under 55°C, after I upgrade the included fans to a higher static pressure. Maybe a push/pull too.

+1

lol makes no sense when the fans cost as much as the heat sink.
