Best Fan Placement

OK I have an Aspire Case
I would like input on best fan placement meaning where to put the intake fans, where to put the exhaust fans,

1 Fan on top of case
1 fan in window
2 optional fans up front
2 optional fans in back

Any input is appreciated

The fan(s) in front should bring cool air into the case. The fan(s) in back should take hot air out of the case. This circulates cool air over the heatsink/processor. Heat rises so if you use a top fan it should pull the hot air out of the case. The side window fan is probably not too far from the heatsink and processor. Most (but not all) heatsink fans blow cool air toward the heatsink. If your heatsink works that way then the side window fan should blow cool air into the case and toward the heatsink and processor. Otherwise, the side window fan and the heatsink fan are competing with each other. Also, a side window fan that blows air out takes some of the cool air (from the front fan) out of the case before it ever gets to the processor.

Bottom line:

Front and side blow IN
Back and top blow OUT

use both front fans for intakes, use both bacj as exhaust, window should be intake, top should be exhaust
