hello all..Which is the Best/Easy to Install/Easy to Use/No Weird Beeping Sounds Fan Controller?

Setup: AMD 2500+@2.3Ghz, Thermalright SLK-900U/Vantec Tornado 92mm, NF7-S rev.2.0.

many thanks 🙂

Whatever you get, make sure it can control the power of the Tornado (12W)

The Sunbeam's are doing quite well I hear. I use the Vantec Nexus (Silver, 5.25") and it works very well. Nice and sturdily constructed, and can handle up to 18W each channel.

I had a Sunbeam Rheobus for some time - an excellent controller with the dual colour LEDs and the ability to turn off the fans instead of just being able to slow them down. Unfortunately, I had to swap it out for one that would fit in a 3.5" bay so I chose a Vantec 205. Surprisingly, it's quite good although the LEDs don't serve any purpose unlike the on the Sunbeam and you can turn off any of the fans. Vantec has just brought out the 305 which controls 3 fans with the first 3 knobs while the fourth controls the sound sensitive CCFLs that come with the 305. The Vantecs are well built, but the Sunbeam still has a better build quality.

My bad, apparently the 305 does allow you to turn off the fans.

I have heard a lot about Nexus with popping mosfets 🙁..i just wanna control my 92mm CPU fan.. i'm looking for sunbeams now 😀

thanks to everyone 🙂

regards

Edit: mine is 301 = 5.25" bay
