best fan control utility for nvidia cards? (besides rivatuner)

the utility provided by leadtek for my 6800gs card is such a piece of trash (piece of bloatware like u wouldnt believe), allthough it does allow to oc and even set fan speed (but fanspeed setting is very crude (only fixed setting).

i have tried rivatuner but it doesnt do what it is supposed to...namely change fanspeed according to gpu performance (fanspeed does start low and throttles up, but does not throttle down again after i stopped playing some heavy duty game).

do any of you know if there is a util which lets u set gpu-fanspeed according to gpu temperature?
eg if my gpu is 40C i want the gpu's fan to go 15%, but if gpu temp is 60C i want fanspeed at 50% , etc.

ok u guys, fyi i am using gainward expertool 3.35 now....works on my leadtek. needed as small hack to go below 50% fanspeed
not as cool as rivatuner but at least it works
 
this allows expertool to go below 50% fanspeeds

the 50% seems also to be hardcoded in the interface so after u do this and do go into the fanspeed panel again it will reset to 50% minimum speeds.

also,
i found that all apps like expertool or rivatuner or even my utility from leadtek let u setonly 1 speed for memory...allthough the progs show gpu speed AND memory speed for both 2d and 3d, when u set the memory speed it will be for both 2d and 3d usage.
the gpu core speed however may be different for 2d and 3d usage...kinda strange the progs show interface for seperate memory speed settings while u can only set 1 speed.

furthermore, expertool seems not to throttle back speed after going from 3d to 2d mode, same as rivatuner. might be my 6800gs though. now i just set speed back manually after i stopped playing.

edit: i was mistaken , both apps do throttle down...just takes them kinda long before they "decide" its "safe" to go down....appearantly i wasnt patient enough 😛
