Well mate, i reckon the answer is DDR ram.. Most people dont really rate EPOX as a top motherboard manufacturer although they do seem to be going from strength to strength.
The 8k7a supports DDR ram and is one of the few availbale. Certainly here in uk the asus and gigabyte alternatives arent readily available. Add to the the fact the 8k7a is actually a good board and very cheap. The 8kta3 family is based on the VIA KT133a chipset which has a FSB of 266 MHz but does not support DDR ram.. Instead it works with 133Mhz ram.
In short people who want VIA KT133a buy asus (imho) because the boards are more established. People who want ddr buy epox.
