Best epic prog album you never heard of.

I would also recommend Glass Hammer - The Inconsolable Secret.

Going for stuff here waay off the beaten path that most people never heard of. Very good prog, though.

I have a few Spock's Beard CDs but never really got into them. Also have a glass Hammer CD, forget which one, and its decent.

First Band that comes to mind when I hear "Progressive Rock" is of course ..... King Crimson.
Have listened to Spock's Beard and they are good, (not great).
Dream Theater is another excellent Prog Band.

That said .... I haven't heard Glass Hammer, though I've seen the name mentioned before.....

I don't think I could name any prog albem nobody's ever heard of ....
I'd name the band "We Are Warwick Davis", but they are really much more stoner/psych than true prog .... that said, I doubt many ATers have heard of them (Platypus, you may have heard of them, but you are a special case ... I believe you know of EVERY band, or at least every good Chicago band ....)
