Best Enterprise Rent-A-Car in San Jose, CA

I'm flying into SJC in October and I'm going to be renting a car for a week. I don't want to pay exorbitant airport rental fees (I've checked) so I'd like to cab to a local Enterprise. Can any local San Jose'er give me some recommendations on the various Enterprise sites around the airport? There are quite a few. Thanks!

Oh...I could use some of my Discover Cash Back award for $40 off a rental, so that's one consideration but I'll check out Dollar.

Well...dollar isn't showing up as significantly cheaper than any other offerings. And all of the rates at SJC haven't been particularly appealing. However, just down the road from both Hertz and Enterprise seem to be decent.

I don't remember who we used when we flew into san jose, but we ended up with a new G6 GTP for very little pricewise.

I'll see if I can find out.

I love priceline for cars. Say you want an airport location and will pay $10/day for a midsize and you will probably end up with a hit.

Man, I'm already seeing a problem....tight on the timewise. Most of the cheap places close at noon on Saturday. Still tracking...

Best price I've seen from Enterprise is $199/wk for a full size (only way to get guaranteed 4-door...).

I've searched tons of websites so please lets limit the "try this company" posts. I've used expedia/travelocity/kayak/sidestep/orbitz/etc. If a San Jose'er can tell me if I should worry about taking a cab to Kelsey Drive Enterprise, let me know. Seems like a cheap rate and only a couple of miles from the airport so a cheap cab ride. Plus, as I mentioned before, I potentially have a $40 gift certificate to use compliments of Discover Card.

Oh....and I've never actually rented a car before...what type of delays am I looking at? Not terribly worried about incoming, but I want to know how early I should leave for our returning flight.
