Anyone know of any good protein/energy bars? Looking for something healthy, just as a meal replacement on days when I have too many classes and no time in between, and I need to lose some more weight anyways. So far I've tried PowerBar (like it a lot) and Kashi (they don't taste that great). $1-2 per a bar is my budget, and preferably I want to buy these in boxes and not individually.

I like Cliff bars but I really only eat them while I'm riding. They are pretty tasty and they are good at replenishing you during exercise. I also like their Gel Shots.

seriously, it works pretty well. you still get tired, but it's not like hitting a wall with some high glucose energy bars, fatigue si more gradual and controllable.

I'm not sure about the best energy bars but I can sure tell you to never ever touch Snicker's Marathon bars. If you are looking for a jaw workout, thats the bar of choice.

Homemade ones are the best.

16 oz. peanut butter
1 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup (?) honey
8 scoops of chocalate protein powder (22g per scoop)
mix together and bake @250 for 5-10 min.

VERY YUMMY AND VERY CHEAP. :p also has a LOT of calories, I use this for bulking.

i always liked Balance bars. they are not "protein" bars, so they have carbs and fat in them so they are pretty tasty!

Well at least for protein bars, they're fscking good! They're better than the powmax (or is it powermax) protein bars eg. cookies and creme.
