Best Email service?

I currently use the email address my job provides me but i would like to acquire a permanent email service with at least over 10megs of storage and no cancellation of service due to inactivity. Of course, I'm willing to pay...can anyone recommend me a good service? The only one i'm really familiar with is yahoo plus...
Thanx

If you are strictly looking for email, there are three major email providers out there aside from the typical yahoo, hotmail type things.

Mailsnare.net, fastmail.fm, runbox.com

All three of them are robust email services and also provide for an SMTP server so you can also send mail from that address. I'm signed up through mailsnare, and I love it.

We have a winnar!

$7.95/yr Domain registration
$9.99/yr Web Hosting which currently has a FREE DOUBLE upgrade sale
====================
Under $20/yr

Gives you:
Your own domain (expired domains)
Web hosting for a web site www.yourdomain.com
Email (POP3/IMAP)
Webmail (Neomail, Horde, Squirrelmail are all pre-installed)
PHP
MySQL
Perl
CGI
200MB disk space - which can be used for web hosting and e-mail
4GB per month bandwidth
cPanel control panel

Awesome deal if you ask me.

but what about spam?

i am getting over 250 spam's a day on my domain, i have an email only account with somebody, i forget, but they have nothing to stop the spam

i am willing to switch and pay a lot more (i paid about $25 for 1 year for this email only thing) if i can get the spam under control

Ok i'm totally clueless...let me tell you what i have so far.
I've had riipplehost for about a year now. But i have never bothered to register a domain name.
Is that why I could never access neomail or horde? it always says server not found.
I did input www.jpark74.com but i guess i never bought the name?
So i use ripplehost to host my files but never could get access www.jpark74.com or anything.
So am i on the right track to assume that I need to register the domain separately from ripplehost and somehow link them?
please give me a clue.
Thanx

Try logging in to their members area, there is a link if you forgot your password.

Once logged in, it should hopefully show your web hosting account.
