Best easy to use PHP image upload script?

Agreed.

Coppermine is easy to install, can do it in a few minutes and allows you to upload pics and resize.

If you would like to see this in action, feel free to sign up for a free account and upload a few pics. No FTP is required, very easy to use.

Coppermine doesn't currently allow user batch uploads, that's why I went with gallery. Gallery allows multiple file uploads (and .zip too!)

ah ok, I rarely do batch uploads and coppermine was easier for me to install than gallery was.

I started with coppermine and all my friends were complaining they couldn't upload multiple files at a time. It was mostly a service for people to share their (digital camera) photos so when someone wanted to make a new album of photo's they had to do it one at a time w/ coppermine. (holy run on sentence)

it would be nice if it could do server side resize to

I have a script that uploads a jpg to specified directory and does a simple resize if that's what you need. YOu may have to modify it a little bit, but it is yours if you want it.
