Best earbuds with long cord?

I bought a pair of $10 sony earbuds from Walmart, and they worked great and had good sound. But...I'm really tall and they weren't long enough to be in my ears and my MD player in my pocket...so I had to exchange them (1m length cable) for a pair of Koss earbuds (half the price) with a 4' cord. However...the only problem with them is that they are quiet. I looked at the box and they have 32 ohm impedence!! That's where my loss is...

So, my question is does anyone have a good pair of earbuds with a long cable with 16 ohm impedence so I can get max output?

They are 48 ohms. I would have more outside noise reduction sure, but the power is now 1/3 of what it should be.
